Job Description:

Performing prior art analysis of inventions received from Research & Development team.


Performing Patent analytics which includes Patent Landscaping, Claim Mapping, Freedom to operate searches (FTO), Invalidity, Enforceability searches.


Interacting and synchronizing with various patent attorneys, IP enforcement, Litigation support


Drafting and filing of Provisional and Complete Specification of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics inventions.


Technology mapping, Design analysis and design release


Designing and maintaining patent databases.


Prepare and prosecute domestic and foreign (PCT, Convention) patent applications


Understand the invention in the invention disclosure.


Review the invention with inventors.


Draft first set of claims, embodiments and rough figures pertaining to the invention.


Draft complete specification after receipt of approval for first draft.


File the drafted application at appropriate domestic and foreign patent offices.


Notify the client about the filing with appropriate material, such as filed application draft, acknowledgement receipt of filing, filing receipts etc.


Assist clients in preparing first invention disclosure document(s).


Understand the invention in a meeting with inventors


Capture necessary details required to write an invention disclosure in the meeting


Obtain approval from the inventor about the captured contents and its technical accuracy.


Client counseling via IP awareness


Presentations at various client locations on IP related matters.


IP training to engineers at various client locations on identifying inventions.
